Discovery Student Council has organized a Food Drive for the FISH Food Bank.

We need: Water, juice, pasta, pasta sauce, oatmeal, cereal, canned vegetables/fruits, tuna, peanut butter, snacks plus pet food!

Drop food items off at the Huskies vs Cougs tables in the lobby.

October 10-14 is National School Lunch Week, and we are celebrating our Nutrition Services Staff!, 

Peninsula School District’s Nutrition Services workers range from bakers and cooks to kitchen leads, cashiers, drivers, and food service workers. They greet our students every day, offering not only healthy meals, but also smiles!

Please join us in thanking all of our Nutrition Services Staff across the district. Especially our very own Ms. Nancy Steuk

Please check the Lost and Found for your child's missing items. We have jackets of all sizes, water bottles and hats.

Another helpful tip is to make sure your child's name is clearly labeled on the item. 

This week, we are recognizing our hardworking maintenance, grounds, custodial, and warehouse staff! From taking care of our buildings and grounds and keeping our learning spaces clean to storing and delivering books and other vital items throughout the district, our staff does amazing work in support of all of our students. Thank you!

 Please help us to be efficient in the office.  We ask that you always call the school at 253-530-1206 by 9:30 am to let us know if your child will be absent or tardy. If you leave a voice message regarding attendance, please be sure to say who is calling; the student’s name; teacher’s name and reason for absence.

Winter weather is fast approaching and Discovery students going out to recess even when it’s raining, it would be a good idea to send your student with a change of clothes. We are running out of our supply in the health room.
